Who is the Next Michael Jackson??? (Everyone's favorite tired subject)

So here we go again, people trying to find some other artist to crown the new Michael Jackson. Usher, Justin Timberlake and Chris brown all were in line to be the new Michael Jackson, now we have Quest love crowning Beyonce as the new Michael and now Rodney Jerkins crowning Lady Gaga as the new Michael. Will it ever stop!!! I see everything is back to normal now as far as the whole we love Michael fad (2009) All these artists that I mention I am huge fans of (well not Chris brown anymore , that’s another subject for another day) and I feel these artists are very talented but no where near Michael status. Why must we keep putting crowns on people, saying that they are the new this or the new that. Can’t they just be themselves and most said they are copying its called being influence people everybody feed off each other. It’s bad enough that the music industry can’t produce real talent anymore and when we do get an artist from this generation that is trying to make decent music we downgrade their talent by comparing them to a legend like Michael. It goes to show how much Michael was truly appreciated always trying to put his title on others. I’m not offended by it at all; I just feel it’s unfair to the artists from this generation. A lot of them are not even trying to become the new anything; it’s the media and fans that raise the bar higher for them.

Sadly we will never see talent like Michael again so we have to fool ourselves into thinking Beyonce is taking his place. I have a Love/Hate with this girl I tell you. I’m a fan of her but then someone hypes her up like she’s the second coming I hate her again. I’m personally over “who is the next MJ” craze. Music has gone downhill and will continue to. No matter what artists will always be compared deal with what’s out now, play an old Michael album and call it a day.

American Idol - Retire and Die

I have been watching American Idol since the Beginning and I am very disappointed of what have happen to this show. For the first time I'm watching and not watching. I see people performing but I couldn't give a care in the world who these people are and what they can bring to the music industry. No one has that "thing" that makes me want to run and buy their album , I wouldn't even download anything from anybody this season. The good thing is that this is Simon's last season being a judge this also means I won't have any need to watch. I almost wasn't going to watch this season because of the Departure of Paula and leaving in Kara who is useless to this show. Yes she has written hit records but I still don't want her on this show, and Ellen who I actually like is more useless than her and it was a waste of time and energy for her to be on this program. Who thought that was a good idea for her to be a judge , I given her a chance and i'm not happy with the results that has been given back. Randy well .... I have no words for Randy and haven't had words for him since the start of the show. Ryan who I am quite fond of (just like simon)is just there doing his job so he gets a pass. And what's with this guy Big mike I mean what's the hype? Yeah he can sing but he sure is not a American Idol . I can just turn on BET and see enough big mikes if I wanted ..he's another Ruben studdard didn't they learn the last time. So all in all I feel this need to be the last season when I watch it feels like i'm watching Auditions not Contestants. Sad it had to end this way *waits for Simon Cowell's "X Factor*

Lloyd Banks - "Beamer, Benz, Or Bentley" feat Juelz Santana

I do like this song , it's been a while since I actually enjoyed a street single or anything by Lloyd Banks at that.

Steven Klein will shoot Lady Gaga Video.

Just weeks after releasing her nineand- a-half-minute “Telephone” music video, Lady Gaga is already on to the next. The pop star is said to have enlisted fashion photographer Steven Klein to direct the video for “Alejandro,” the upcoming third single off her 2008 album, “The Fame Monster.” Known primarily for his celebrity and editorial work for French and Italian Vogue, Details and W magazine (including the Madonna shoots and the July 2005 issue featuring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as a Sixties family), Klein has dabbled in video in recent years, directing a handful of commercials and short fashion films and collaborating with Madonna on the background videos for her 2004 and 2006 concert tours. While the choice of Klein is a departure for Gaga, who has opted for music-video vets such as Jonas Akerlund (“Telephone” and “Paparazzi”) and Francis Lawrence (“Bad Romance”) in the past, it makes a certain sense — “Alejandro” is about a tumultuous breakup and Klein is great depicting sexual tension — just ask Brangelina.

Don't piss Betty White off

She may have a sweet exterior, but Betty White is one tough cookie on the inside.

The "Golden Girl" alum, who co-starred with Sandra Bullock in last summer's romantic comedy "The Proposal," is fuming mad at the actress' biker husband Jesse James, who allegedly had an 11-month affair with a tattoo model, according to PopEater.com.

White is reportedly very protective over Bullock, who has recently pulled out of attending the London and Berlin premieres of her film "The Blind Side."

"Betty wants to kick Jesse James' a--," a source close to White explains. "Betty is furious and just cannot understand why he would be so stupid.

"He had everything. A beautiful, talented wife who adored him, an amazing daughter that Sandra treats as her own, and he has thrown it all away for some floozy."

The 88-year-old actress is said to be so upset, she apparently cannot say James' name without cursing. However, that hasn't stopped her from expressing her affection for Bullock.

"I love her with all my heart," White told "Entertainment Tonight" in an interview airing Tuesday. "[She's] one of the greatest human beings on the planet."

"We're all deeply, deeply saddened," she added. "At such a high point in her life, it's tough, but I think the less other people have to say about it and let her work it out ... the better."

As Bullock has remained in seclusion since news of the purported affair broke last week, it is unknown whether she will fly to New York to support the veteran actress when she hosts "Saturday Night Live" on May 8.

The insider told PopEater that White understands the difficult situation, explaining, "Betty wants Sandra to spend some time focusing on herself."

With her highly-anticipated "SNL" hosting gig coming up, White will at least have plenty of opportunities to translate her anger into comedy by taking a few jabs at James.

Justin Bieber on The View

Okay so this kid is Constantly trending on twitter and yeah it can get annoying but I must admit Justin's songs are kind of catchy. I don't know maybe it's because i'm a usher fan (Yeah I know it's not 2004 anymore but I still have a fondness for him) that I feel I must support him in some way. So yeah I like him but don't get it twisted I'm 22 years old so there is a LIMIT. I don't like him in that way i'm just able to Tolerate him. No hate over here Justin.
