Adam Lambert's Acoustic Live! Due December 6
Just in time for the holidays, Adam Lambert is treating fans to the unplugged set Acoustic Live! The five-song EP, due in stores December 6, will feature stripped-down versions of "Whataya Want From Me" and other popular tracks from his debut album, For Your Entertainment.
According to a post on his website, the acoustic versions of "Whataya Want From Me" and "Music Again" were recorded in Germany. Additional tracks, "Aftermath" and "Soaked," from the singer's Glam Nation Tour, will also be included on the set.
On the cover of Acoustic Live!, a shirtless Lambert stands in front of a blue and white spiral explosion throwing up the peace sign and rocking his signature messy hairdo.
Just last month, the "American Idol" season-eight runner-up opened up about his on-the-road studio sessions. "We went around Europe in the earlier part of this year ... and we did a lot of promo, so I had Monty, my guitar player, and my drummer at the time," the singer told Australian personality Dylan Lewis. "We just did very stripped-back versions of the songs. We got our hands on some of those recordings. Then we also recorded some of the stuff from the actual Glam Nation Tour, so it's going to be a mix of both."
In addition to Acoustic Live!, Glamberts can also look forward to seeing the singing sensation profiled in an upcoming episode of "True Hollywood Story." The episode, which is scheduled to air Sunday on E!, will feature Lambert and his parents discussing everything from his fame to their family relationship.

Who's in My Circle?
This is a running joke with a person I talk to online , I have alot of favorite artists so I have to break them up in different sections. Don't take this post seriously just all in good fun.
The Circle – Justin Timberlake , Kanye West , Usher and Lady Gaga who are my top 4 , the others include Eminem who at one point was kicked out (remember those infamous racist tapes) but several Months later I allowed back in. Other Artists include J.Cole, Adam Lambert and Maxwell.
Around The Circle - Being around the circle is just as good as being in my circle, you are a favorite of mines but not quite to the point I would Stan for you or even see you in concert, I don’t Stan for anyone though . The point is I like you enough to consider you in my circle. Artists include Jay- Z, Drake, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Trey Songz, Beyonce, Lil Wayne , Justin Bieber (yep I said it what you going to do about it) and Bruno Mars.
The Waiting List – The waiting list is when a new artist or a artist I haven’t paid attention to in the past gains my attention and I decide if I would like to include them around the circle or officially in my circle. Currently at this time I don’t have any J. Cole was in this section but as move into my circle in the recent months. But Artists like Florence and the machine and Mike Posner has entertained me a little.
I support Circle – This circle consist of artists that I never was mega fans of but a fan or artists that I just like and will support their music. This is almost like the you cool section but not quite , most of the artists are from the past that I enjoyed and feel are still decent . Examples: Ludacris, Fabolous, Dipset (Cam or Juelz)
Was a Fan but Moved on Section – This is artists that I loved but just lost interest but will most likely still check out if new music is involve. Examples: 50 Cent, Bow Wow and Jonas Brothers.
Ignored Circle – For whatever reason I might become annoyed with an artist’s personal life I moved them in this circle. I can separate the artist from the person but when it starts affecting their career and getting on my nerves I don’t deal with them at the moment. T.I. is currently in this circle for reasons that don’t need to be explained. He has gone from being in my circle to kick out to being in my circle again to now in the ignored circle. I still listen to the music but that’s it for the moment. Another example would be Alicia keys but I don’t listen to her at all.
On The Curb – Artists that were once a large part of my circle but they have broken a rule so because of that they can’t get back in. My two rules for being kicked out is 1. A racist remark – I hate racism of any kind either it’s towards African Americans, Caucasian, Latinos whoever you got to go. And my second rule is beating a female that I know of (A lot of these rappers doing things behind close doors) but if it gets out then you have to go as well. Now I only have one girl in my circle so this rule I made just for the men. Since Justin and Usher has been in my circle the longest they can’t get kicked out that’s their privilege I mention earlier that Eminem (who was also in my circle for a long time) was kicked out but I allowed him back in. It can happen if I feel you learned your lesson then I will let you back in but you have to show that you have learn. Chris Brown was a big part of my circle and I kicked him out last year recently I decided to give his music a listen but sadly it is still not the same and will never be. He might have a chance getting into my ignored circle but even that’s not looking good. If he does then T.I. will have a better chance getting back in my circle than him. Chris can never get back in sucks for him. Some things I just won't tolerate.
This Circle is very useful you can use my method if you like for your own personal gain , remember a circle makes the world go round. (=

You Cool Section- I just made this up on the top of my head, the you cool section is when I like a artist but don’t like their music but like THEM or if you have a song or three I enjoy (I have a three song rule when I like three songs from the artist I check out their album) Nicki Minaj is most likely a good example of this. The girl’s music is not my taste but I like her craziness and will check her out.

Not Top 5? No my top 4 concerts
Here's a list of my favorite concerts I don't go into full detail the things that happen but just some detail. NOTE :The way the concerts are rank does not reflect the ranking of talent keep in mind.
New Kids on the Block w/ Lady Gaga & Natasha bedingfield 2008
This is my number one concert for sentimental reasons; New Kids were the first artist/group I ever liked so I was more excited about this one. Lady Gaga open up the show and at this time she wasn’t a big star yet I was sitting there watching her and like 0_0 I can’t explain it LOL she was different but I was intrigue. This was during her just dance days and I figure she would be a one hit wonder but as we know that was not meant to be. Natasha was good she has a nice voice and performed well live. Then the main attraction New Kids on the block, the child in me was dying lol. They are a big part of my childhood and I love going back to my childhood when I can LOL. They are good live as well... they are so much Fun they get the audience into the show. I left the show pleased.
Closing thoughts – I was happy that I got the chance to see the group that started my whole music obsession but who would have thought two years later the only one I care about now is Lady Gaga. Go figure
2.

This was the concert I went to yesterday and it was so GOOD. This should really be my number one. The comedian guy torry open up the show and well was funny in the beginning but got vulgar in the end. It’s one thing to do dirty comedy but dirty comedy can also become tasteless. And the sexually jokes went tasteless in the end. Hey the audience laughed but I didn’t. So next Jill Scott was up she was really good. She has a very powerful voice I wasn’t feeling her at the moment because of some interracial comments she had made in an interview but I still like her though. Then Maxwell who I must say is a beautiful man. The women were going crazy and I was laughing my butt off at them. He is good live as well and someone was saying he messed up a lyric who cares he fine he can mess up the lyrics all he want. Women throwing their panties on stage and he playing with the panties yeah it was that type of concert. It was a good show definitely a fave of mines.
Closing Thoughts – I love when I can go to a concert and the people can SING and LIVE at that. Would I see Maxwell again a part of me would but the women (and men) are too much LOL so if he puts out a DVD I would buy it for sure.
3.

T.I. w/ Ciara , T-pain , Lloyd , Yung Joc & Special Guests Jay-Z , Kanye West , 50 Cent , Diddy & Swizz Beatz (Scream Fest aka Scream Tour) 2007
Okay this was my favorite concert for a long time and it will still stay as a fave of mines. I wanted to see T.I. so bad (at that time) so I had got my wish. I wasn’t sure at first as far as would he be good as a performer. Rappers in my opinion are not good in that department I mean they just hold the mic and walk around the stage wow what a good show *sarcasm* but T.I. brings energy and he pulled it off. Ciara is or should I say was a good performer. I’m glad I saw her when she was relevant I used to love Ciara too. Oh Well. Lloyd I liked at that time as well he wasn’t bad to be honest. He basically did the sing and dance thing. Yung Joc I could have did with out. He tried to be sexy which is a no no for him. What happen to Yung Joc anyway? T-pain at this time was popular he actually sung on songs without the auto tune and didn’t sound bad. Maybe he should have done more of that. There were special guest there Funk Master Flex I believe was there and Terrence J and Rocsi showed up too. During T.I. set he brought out Jay-Z, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Diddy &Swizz Beatz(This was a big deal too all the blogs were talking about this concert)This is the Mtv article on it. 50 Cent had came out earlier during Ciara set which was the beginning of the end for ciara when she got involve with 50 that was pretty much it career wise. It was funny to see Kanye and 50 on the same stage because at this time they had that little feud the who will sell more albums mess (Kanye won) But it end up being a publicity stunt but some took it seriously. I think the only one missing from that concert was lil Wayne; most of the top stars were there.
Closing Thoughts – It was a Hip Hop head dream and a huge upgrade from the previous scream tours. It actually was the last scream tour and would I see T.I. again? Yes I would guns and all.
4.
UCP(Up close and Personal tour)Chris Brown w/ Bow Wow , Omarion , Soulja Boy, Sean Kingston & shop boyz 2007
Now this was of course before the Chris and Rihanna situation and most of these people on this tour are no where near as popular as they once was but it was still a fun concert. Chris is a good performer and that is one thing I would never sugar coat. He really is but I actually wanted to see soulja boy too for some reason. Crank Dat was a huge hit and just like most at that time I was cranking it. I even have his first album but I’m not a fan anymore though. Bow Wow who I will always like (don’t ask) I liked him since I was 13 and it’s just certain artist no matter how wack they get or people feel they have gotten I just will still be fond of. Omarion his man (is he still his man?) was there and this was my third time seeing Omarion he just always popped up at the concerts I went to. I like him as a performer to be honest but like soulja boy not really into him now, Shop Boyz yeah those party like a rockstar people what happen to them? Sean Kingston not even going to lie I liked his first album and now he hanging out with Justin bieber so I guess his career is still intact.
Closing Thoughts – Don’t really have any. It was a fun show Chris is a good performer would I see him again? No I don’t support abuse sadly.
My other concerts were B2K(2003) which were a very popular group and messed up what happen to them in the end. The others at this concert was Marques Houston, Mario and nick cannon. Then the holladay jam(2005) with Bow Wow , Chris brown , Omarion , Marques Houston , Ciara and Trey Songz……..Let’s stop at Trey Songz because I missed him twice. On this tour and a show that was suppose to be at the Apollo Theater with him and Mario which was cancelled. I guess it wasn’t meant to be for me to see Trey Songz but I have no interest in seeing READY Trey Songz anyway.
I seen alot of other artists but they were mostly special guests at the concerts I went to I can't think of all of them at the moment.
In the future I would like to see Lady Gaga(again) Kanye West (again in a full show) Ne-Yo , Jonas Brothers ... I really did want to see them but they still on that disney mess and I just don't know now, Adam Lambert , Usher and Justin Timberlake who I must see before I die. I need to see Justin smh.

Ryan Leslie Splits With Universal; Works On Indie Album
I couldn’t get into him when he was with cassie (she has no talent so I wrote him off by association) but when his self titled album dropped I checked it out and I enjoyed it I also have his last release as well. He’s kind of underrated so hopefully his decision will work out for him.
Ryan Leslie enamored old and new fans alike last night (June 23) during the first of two back-to-back performances at New York City's Bowery Ballroom. The R&B singer/rapper/songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist -- who parted ways with former label Universal Motown last month -- celebrated his new-found independence with performances of former hits like "Addicted" and "How It Was Supposed to Be," as well as two new tracks: "Glory" and "Maybachs and Diamonds."
"Never had a top ten, but they still respect my art," Ryan Leslie sang during "Glory," which is slated to be included on his third release, "Les Is More" -- his first independent album following 2009's self-titled debut and "Transition." "Maybachs and Diamonds" is a slow, groovy tune about flourishing his partner with more than just material things, like "Maybachs and Diamonds."
Initially, Leslie had a four-album deal with Universal, but toward the end of that contract, "Universal was interested in reshaping my deal to more of a 360, and they actually made a counter-offer from the initial recording fund," Leslie tells Billboard.com. "At that point I saw that as a window to potentially branch off and try something that was going to be new and dynamic."
Now that Leslie is an independent artist, the 31-year-old hopes to incorporate more of a DIY, grassroots formula to help promote his upcoming project -- the performances at Bowery being the kick-off event. Having already partnered with Lexus for a TV ad campaign and having worked with Adidas in the past, Leslie hopes to use similar partnerships as a main marketing tool moving forward.
Leslie, who graduated from Harvard University at the age of 19, also plans to include more merch into his promotions, like giving away free merch and two tickets for the price of one with every ticket purchase. "I'm learning as much as I can about the space that I want to occupy from a business standpoint," he says.
Hoping to further liberate himself from labels' "strict loyalty and revenue guidelines," Leslie, who just returned from a U.K. opening stint for Ne-Yo, is looking to bank more on touring this time around. Although he made appearances at the African American Heritage Festival and Essence Music Festival last year, he expressed a deep interest in broadening his touring horizons, name-checking festival staples Coachella and Bonnarroo in "Glory."
"In 2011, I really, really want to do Coachella and Bonnaroo and it seems like for those venues it's usually pretty skewed [for R&B performers]. I think it would be rare if we saw Trey Songz or someone who is considered 'R&B' to be at one of those festivals," he says. "I think that's something that I'd like to change and I think that the energy of my shows is much more aligned to that type of festival than sort of the choreographed dance of [say] an Usher show."
And his show last night proved him right. Leslie was energetic as he performed for the ecstatic crowd of fans -- including actor Denzel Washington -- who sang along to every song, including "Diamond Girl" and Stevie Wonder's "You and I."
While Leslie didn't make any formal announcements about his departure from Universal Motown during the set, he took some subtle jabs at his previous label home. "I've always wanted to play these songs but I couldn't before," he said while singing "Guardian Angel." "I always felt like this song should be a single."
Although Leslie is mostly mum about the details of "Les is More," which doesn't have a release date yet, he did reveal he's been in the studio producing tracks for Keri Hilson, Asher Roth, Ne-Yo, Game, Lil Wayne and more.

Drake Debuts At No. 1 On Billboard 200 ( Is this really a shock)
This picture is adorable to me LOL!!!
Drake I hate your fans and your attitude at times rub me the wrong way but be thankful that your music is listenable. I won’t stan for you but I tolerate you congrats immigrant.
Drake's Thank Me Later" bows, as expected, with an eye-popping 447,000 copies at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart according to Nielsen SoundScan. It's the third-best sales week of the year for a single album.
The top two sales weeks of 2010 are owned by Sade's "Soldier of Love" (502,000 off its debut week in February) and Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" (481,000 in its first frame in January). And since both Lady Antebellum and Sade are technically groups, "Thank Me Later's" start is also the biggest debut week for a solo act's album since Susan Boyle's "I Dreamed a Dream" entered at No. 1 with 701,000 upon its release last November.
Drake also has the highest new entry on the Digital Songs chart, where his "Up All Night" enters at No. 22 with 57,000 downloads sold. Katy Perry's "California Gurls" retains the No. 1 slot with 337,000 (down 6%) while three songs in the top 10 make big gains. Mike Posner's "Cooler Than Me" rises three spots to No. 6 (142,000; up 42%), Drake's "Find Your Love" climbs eight rungs to No. 8 (112,000; up 46%) and 3Oh!3's "My First Kiss" jumps two spots to No. 9 (112,000; up 24%).
Back on the Billboard 200 albums list, the entire top four slots house new entries for the first time since last December. The second-highest debut belongs to Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers' "Mojo" starting at No. 2 with 125,000. It marks Petty's best debut sales week since SoundScan started tracking sales in 1991 and his highest charting album since 1980. "Mojo's" handsome bow was aided by a successful concert ticket/album download offer, which accounted for a fair amount of the set's first week.
Next up, Sarah McLachlan's new studio set "Laws of Illusion" opens at No. 3 with 94,000. The latter's last proper studio album, "Afterglow," was released way back in 2003 and started at No. 2 with 361,000. (In the interim, she's charted with two remix sets, a live effort, a rarities collection, a greatest hits package and a holiday album.)
The final top 10 debut comes in at No. 4 from the new "Now 34" compilation with 88,000. Not to be the bearer of bad news, but with 88,000 this marks the first album in the main "Now" series -- not counting its various genre-specific offshoots -- to debut with less than 100,000 since the first "Now" compilation started with 48,000 in 1998.
As for the rest of the top 10 this week, Jack Johnson's "To The Sea" falls one spot to No. 5 (68,000; down 24%) and the "Eclipse" soundtrack slips four rungs to No. 6 (55,000; down 63%). Justin Bieber's "My World 2.0" drops one slot to No. 7 (47,000; down 4%), Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" holds at No. 8 (40,000; up 4%) and Christina Aguilera's "Bionic" dips six positions to No. 9 (40,000; down 64%). Closing out the top 10 is last week's No. 1, "Glee: The Music, Journey to Regionals" (39,000; down 64%).
Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending June 20) totaled 6.14 million units, up 9% compared to the sum last week (5.61 million) and down 9% compared to the comparable sales week of 2009 (6.76 million). Year to date album sales stand at 142.4 million, down 11% compared to the same total at this point last year (159.7 million).
Digital track sales this past week totaled 21.4 million downloads, down 4% compared to last week (22.3 million) and down 1% compared to the comparable week of 2009 (21.6 million). Year to date track sales are at 554.4 million, up less than 1% compared to the same total at this point last year (552.3 million).

Trey Songz -Ready , but are you really?
For a while I wonder to myself when was Trey Songz going to blowup. Trey came on the scene the same time as Chris Brown &; Ne-Yo, Chris (at the time) and Ne-Yo were able to have great crossover success but trey was just an R&B dude with braids. He was nothing special as far as his image but voice wise I felt he was decent and had decent songs. His songs at the time weren’t poppy, weren’t ringtoneish just good R&B for the new school at least. But I guess Trey got tired of being in the background, even Lloyd and Bobby Valentino (remember him) were doing better than trey. But even though he wasn’t as known as the others I thought his songs were better than there’s at least Chris ,. Chris had the whole package but musically he couldn’t touch Ne-Yo and Trey. Trey day was another decent album from trey but some songs on there did hint that he was changing his sound, even with trey day he still was a nobody. Then trey cut off his braids, gain muscles and is ready. Oh really trey, well the cover of ready is basically a rip-off of D’angelo voodoo album and didn’t Marques Houston already do a D’angelo impression with naked??? I invented sex; trey is really playing that R.kelly role isn’t he?
Vibe Magazine- Trey says “People say well I hear a lot of R.kelly in your music, so what / R.kelly took Aaron Hall whole style” That is true trey but must you do the same? I was rooting for you to get mainstream success without copying others. I know that artists are influence everyone copies but trey really the LOL (: was the turning point for me. I couldn’t believe trey would put out a record like that.
I guess Ne-Yo said it best –“I like that he’s not doing the whole R&B thug thing anymore. There is no such thing; I’ve thought for a long time that he has one of the more distinct voices in R&B. It’s one of those voices that you hear and you automatically know who it is. I feel like some of his earlier songs complimented his voice a little better. But no one was really paying attention so he had to, dare I say, dumb it down.
The key sentence in bold, exactly what I did not want him to do and he did was DUMB IT DOWN. And he really dumbs it down on ready. He sounds like everyone else and that’s the problem. What happen to that boy that just gotta make it? He made it but he wasn’t true to his original self and I know at times the label does market you a certain way but trey what you doing is not different. You are taking your shirt off and singing about sex I feel like I seen this before.
But hey maybe this is you after all and if this is, it sure is nothing special. You could have been a young Maxwell or Donell Jones but no just a replacement until Usher get’s his groove back and Chris well tries to come back. I’m just waiting for you to dance now. Two times I was suppose to see trey perform, missed him the first time and he cancelled the second. It’s fine though that was in his braids days I have no interest now.
And please at the end of the day Trey’s best album is the first his most successful is ready. And I see trey releasing all these video’s like ready is producing mad hits. The only hits are I invented sex and say ahh. Songs like gotta make it , cheat on you , gotta go , ur behind , just wanna cut , wonder woman , can’t help but wait , we should be , missing you , Last time I’ll pick over say ahh , I invented sex and LOL (: any day. I’m all about artists evolving but don’t do a 360 on people Trey always sung about sex just his whole style now I feel it’s nothing new just a clone of something else at least his old image had promise not the thug image but just the type of records he was singing .
I never was a mega fan of trey, never listened to his mix tapes but I do have all three albums’ I always felt he was underrated in the past but now that trey has blown up he’s pretty overrated sadly. I have mixed feelings on the new Trey but congratulations’ Trey for becoming like everybody else.
