Teena Marie - Square Biz

R.I.P

Rags to Riches – Let Me Roll it

So I got the idea to write fan fiction these days from someone and well it’s snowing here and I am beyond bored so here’s my fan fiction to share. No I mean ghetto fiction (;

These stories are silly and not meant to take seriously I have no aspirations of being a writer so if it sucks it’s not crushing any dreams.

Characters

Andre -Think of a light skin cuter version of Carlton

Jermaine- A mixed of a Thug and Decent Young black man

Wiz Khalifa – Himself

Wiz is in a dilemma he must have good marks on his homework to pass his final grade but the weed is taking over so he enlists Andre and Jermaine for help.

Wiz – So Andre what do you like to do for fun?

Andre – well unlike yourself I like to read, you know educate myself for the future. Wiz have you ever heard of the future and all the possibilities of it?

Wiz- Huh?

Andre- Yeah I wouldn’t expect you to since you’re always high

Wiz- Hold up I’m never high just free, I don’t worry like you two.

Jermaine – What exactly do I have to worry about?

Andre – Yes enlightened us.

Wiz- Nah I’m saying I just let life happen, you know whatever happens happen for a reason.

Jermaine – What does that have to do with smoking weed?

Wiz- Weed is part of me letting things happen, it cures my worries, your boy Andre needs to take a hit he’s such a tight ass.

Andre – I’m a tight ass because I care about my education unlike you, I saw you during class and I wonder how you even made it to this college

Wiz – I’m smart that’s how I made it: Wiz Laughs:

Andre- Well act like it, you’re an embarrassment 100 % of the time.

Jermaine – Anyway why did you call us here, you know meet you in an alley of all places.

Wiz – I need a favor

Jermaine – What?

Wiz- I need one of you to do my homework.

Andre – You request us to meet you in an alley just for you to say can you do my homework. Well thanks for being a waste in my life. I’m leaving

Wiz- No!!1 I really need you guys to help me if I don’t get it done I might not pass and you two are very smart ..

Andre – And weed less

Wiz- : blank stare: Are you trying to play me?

Jermaine – Wiz drop by my house later tonight me and Andre will tutor you

Andre- What, no I will not, I refuse

Jermaine – Andre Can I speak to you in private, excuse us wiz.

Wiz – Take your time: Wiz prepares to smoke some more:

Andre - : Whispers: Are you insane? Why should we help this drug addict.

Jermaine- Why not? I’m sure he’ll pay us I could use the extra cash you know that fool spends $10k a month on weed I mean you’re rich but I sure can use it.

Andre – Jermaine look at him; Andre and Jermaine stop to look at wiz, wiz looks back and smiles: He’s an idiot...

Jermaine – Just do this for me

Andre – Alright but you tutor him I’ll watch.

Jermaine – Alright wiz come to my house at 7:00 p.m we’ll help you.

Wiz – Aww thanks you my nigga’s

Andre – You my what?

Wiz- You my nigga, my boys: Wiz looks confused:

Jermaine – Wiz don’t mind him see you later.

Wiz- Aight

Later… (LOL)

Knock on the door, Jermaine opens the door

Jermaine - Hey wiz come in

Wiz – Thanks, hey I hope you didn’t mind I brought some weed to help us out.

Andre – Oh Wiz what a surprise you shouldn’t have
Wiz – Ha you know Andre I’m hoping that you smoke with me tonight you should try it.

Andre- No thanks

Wiz- : opens up homework book: Jermaine you smoke?

Jermaine – I have in the past, I’m good though.

Wiz- Well I guess that leaves Andre: stares at Andre:

Andre – Why are you so focus on getting me high, only if you focus on school the same?

Wiz- Dre you need to chill and smoke. Try it.

Andre- It’s Andre and no I will not.

Wiz – Come on man

Jermaine – Wiz let’s just start forget the weed for once.

Wiz- Okay; Laughs and bites on a Doritos chip:

Andre- : Stares at Wiz and Jermaine: Alright I’ll try it.

Dead Silence

Jermaine – You’ll try what?

Andre – The weed. Let me smoke it

Jermaine – What the Fuck.

Wiz- : Jumps up excited: Yes I knew it: Laughs and passes one to Andre” Take your time baby steps.

Jermaine – Andre are you for real right now.

Andre- Yes I am, I’m not a follower but wiz convinced me.

Wiz- This is an honor that I did, I feel like a proud father.

Beyond dead silence, Andre and Jermaine give wiz side eyes, Wiz smiles stupidly.

Andre -: Puffs and Jermaine and wiz stares and waits for Andre‘s reaction.

Jermaine- Andre are you okay?

Andre – That was it?

Wiz- Puff some more

Jermaine- No that’s enough

Wiz- He said that was it he suppose to be saying this some good shit smoke some more.

Jermaine- No!! Wiz that’s enough, you OD I swear.

Wiz- Ha Ha you feeling it dre

Jermaine – Wiz get out: slams wiz homework book:

Wiz- What? I didn’t put it to his mouth and say nigga smoke it.

Jermaine- You pretty much did... Get out.

Wiz- that’s not cool

Andre – Wait he can stay

Wiz- : smiles and sits back down:

Jermaine- This is my house Andre not yours and I want wiz gone, wiz get out.

Wiz- : get’s up from chair:

Andre- No stay

Wiz-: sits down:

Jermaine- Wiz Leave

Wiz: gets up:

Andre- No stay

Wiz - : sits down:

Jermaine- Wiz!! ; Jermaine shouts:

Wiz- : get’s up:

Andre- NO!!! : Andre shouts:

This is getting pathetic.

Wiz- Hold up which one is it do I stay or go?

Andre- Alright go

Wiz- Cool, hey if I offended you Jermaine I’m sorry: Wiz walks to the door:

Wiz- We still cool right?

Jermaine – slams door on wiz

Jermaine- How are you Andre?

Andre- Woof Woof: Andre makes a barking noise:

Jermaine- Andre?

Andre - Grunts and barks like a dog

Jermaine – What the fuck kind of weed he gave you

Andre- Jumps on table and Barks

Jermaine – Uh Oh

Almost at Home Plate .. Almost....

This past Wednesday I had an appointment to see the MRI about my knee but since the machine wasn’t working I had to come today. The problem with that was I had a appointment already scheduled for my knee on the same day so I couldn’t see the doctor about my knee today because they was waiting for me to get the MRI first. I have to wait to the end of this month to see the doctor. I was pissed since Wednesday because of this; my good knee is hurting like crazy now. All the doctor said was take Tylenol -_-. This December somebody better have repaired my knee are I’m going to hit somebody with my cane. To take my mind off of it I had Kanye’s, Nicki’s and Ne-Yo’s album to listen to. Knee good during Kanye’s but knee hurt again when I was listening to Nicki’s. Not a Good sign.

Adam Lambert's Acoustic Live! Due December 6

Just in time for the holidays, Adam Lambert is treating fans to the unplugged set Acoustic Live! The five-song EP, due in stores December 6, will feature stripped-down versions of "Whataya Want From Me" and other popular tracks from his debut album, For Your Entertainment.

According to a post on his website, the acoustic versions of "Whataya Want From Me" and "Music Again" were recorded in Germany. Additional tracks, "Aftermath" and "Soaked," from the singer's Glam Nation Tour, will also be included on the set.

On the cover of Acoustic Live!, a shirtless Lambert stands in front of a blue and white spiral explosion throwing up the peace sign and rocking his signature messy hairdo.

Just last month, the "American Idol" season-eight runner-up opened up about his on-the-road studio sessions. "We went around Europe in the earlier part of this year ... and we did a lot of promo, so I had Monty, my guitar player, and my drummer at the time," the singer told Australian personality Dylan Lewis. "We just did very stripped-back versions of the songs. We got our hands on some of those recordings. Then we also recorded some of the stuff from the actual Glam Nation Tour, so it's going to be a mix of both."

In addition to Acoustic Live!, Glamberts can also look forward to seeing the singing sensation profiled in an upcoming episode of "True Hollywood Story." The episode, which is scheduled to air Sunday on E!, will feature Lambert and his parents discussing everything from his fame to their family relationship.

Who's in My Circle?

This is a running joke with a person I talk to online , I have alot of favorite artists so I have to break them up in different sections. Don't take this post seriously just all in good fun.

The Circle – Justin Timberlake , Kanye West , Usher and Lady Gaga who are my top 4 , the others include Eminem who at one point was kicked out (remember those infamous racist tapes) but several Months later I allowed back in. Other Artists include J.Cole, Adam Lambert and Maxwell.

Around The Circle - Being around the circle is just as good as being in my circle, you are a favorite of mines but not quite to the point I would Stan for you or even see you in concert, I don’t Stan for anyone though . The point is I like you enough to consider you in my circle. Artists include Jay- Z, Drake, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Trey Songz, Beyonce, Lil Wayne , Justin Bieber (yep I said it what you going to do about it) and Bruno Mars.

The Waiting List – The waiting list is when a new artist or a artist I haven’t paid attention to in the past gains my attention and I decide if I would like to include them around the circle or officially in my circle. Currently at this time I don’t have any J. Cole was in this section but as move into my circle in the recent months. But Artists like Florence and the machine and Mike Posner has entertained me a little.

You Cool Section- I just made this up on the top of my head, the you cool section is when I like a artist but don’t like their music but like THEM or if you have a song or three I enjoy (I have a three song rule when I like three songs from the artist I check out their album) Nicki Minaj is most likely a good example of this. The girl’s music is not my taste but I like her craziness and will check her out.

I support Circle – This circle consist of artists that I never was mega fans of but a fan or artists that I just like and will support their music. This is almost like the you cool section but not quite , most of the artists are from the past that I enjoyed and feel are still decent . Examples: Ludacris, Fabolous, Dipset (Cam or Juelz)

Was a Fan but Moved on Section – This is artists that I loved but just lost interest but will most likely still check out if new music is involve. Examples: 50 Cent, Bow Wow and Jonas Brothers.

Ignored Circle – For whatever reason I might become annoyed with an artist’s personal life I moved them in this circle. I can separate the artist from the person but when it starts affecting their career and getting on my nerves I don’t deal with them at the moment. T.I. is currently in this circle for reasons that don’t need to be explained. He has gone from being in my circle to kick out to being in my circle again to now in the ignored circle. I still listen to the music but that’s it for the moment. Another example would be Alicia keys but I don’t listen to her at all.

On The Curb – Artists that were once a large part of my circle but they have broken a rule so because of that they can’t get back in. My two rules for being kicked out is 1. A racist remark – I hate racism of any kind either it’s towards African Americans, Caucasian, Latinos whoever you got to go. And my second rule is beating a female that I know of (A lot of these rappers doing things behind close doors) but if it gets out then you have to go as well. Now I only have one girl in my circle so this rule I made just for the men. Since Justin and Usher has been in my circle the longest they can’t get kicked out that’s their privilege I mention earlier that Eminem (who was also in my circle for a long time) was kicked out but I allowed him back in. It can happen if I feel you learned your lesson then I will let you back in but you have to show that you have learn. Chris Brown was a big part of my circle and I kicked him out last year recently I decided to give his music a listen but sadly it is still not the same and will never be. He might have a chance getting into my ignored circle but even that’s not looking good. If he does then T.I. will have a better chance getting back in my circle than him. Chris can never get back in sucks for him. Some things I just won't tolerate.

This Circle is very useful you can use my method if you like for your own personal gain , remember a circle makes the world go round. (=

Cablevision wants Fox deal to match Time Warner Cable

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Cablevision Systems Corp on Wednesday said it has made an offer to News Corp to pay for carriage of the Fox stations at a rate equivalent to its larger counterpart Time Warner Cable Inc.

The offer would be for a one-year deal, the company said in a statement that appeared to be a last ditch attempt by the New York-based cable operator to restore Fox 5 in New York and Fox 29 in Philadelphia to more than 3 million homes after a 12-day blackout.

Executives at Cablevision will be particularly keen to restore the stations, which are carrying the Major League Baseball World Series starting later on Wednesday.

"This is higher than the rate we pay any other New York broadcast station," Cablevision said in a statement. "This solution is in the best interest of not only baseball fans but of all Cablevision customers and Fox viewers.

Fox did not immediately respond to Reuters for a comment on the latest Cablevision offer. Time Warner Cable has more than four times as many customers as Cablevision across the country and typically that allows the larger company to negotiate a lower per subscriber rate than a smaller operator.

The battle between Fox and Cablevision had become particularly vitriolic in recent days as each side accused the other of being unreasonable.

Cablevision in particular has tried to persuade the Federal Communications Commission to get involved and mediate. While the FCC has asked for details of their negotiations to ensure they're being conducted in "good faith," it has so far declined to actively mediate. Instead, it has asked both sides to focus on negotiating a deal rather than "publicity stunts."

Earlier on Wednesday, Cablevision had questioned FCC's role in the dispute.

"We do not understand how protecting and interceding on behalf of TV viewers in 3 million blacked out households in the Northeastern United States does not fall under the FCC's purview," said Cablevision spokesman Charles Schueler.

Glee On GQ

My Lifetime Story in the making

This blog is a reflection of me and my thoughts, but I rarely showcase them but tonight you are in for a treat. There’s things that saddens me but I try to smile and not think about it. The main thing that upset’s me is my mother’s health, having only one parent can make you really paranoid. I lost my father when I was around 6 or 7? I don’t remember but it was before I was 10. I was close and not too close to him if that makes sense. I was around my mother more because he was sick, but I loved him. My parents were married which is rare these days and I had a good childhood. I was spoiled basically and still am. When my father passed it change things but surprising enough as the years went by my father kind of became an after thought. I missed him but I knew I would see him again and I still had my mother who was the parent I was close to the most. But know that my mother is sick I get flashbacks about what happen to my father. I just can’t afford to lose both parents. We argue sometimes (not like that we have a good relationship) but I notice I get upset faster because of her health I can’t deal with it I guess, She said something to me that ticked me off last night and I almost got banned from the computer but like I said I’m spoiled and I know how to do things to reverse it LOL. She’s my mom I try to be respectful but I’m not the type to just allow you to say something to me that I feel is not correct and stay shut. I have a mouth and it can be a problem it doesn’t matter if we are related or not. I was never really like that until I got older I guess it was how I dealt with people in general (in school) because of those experiences I grown to not like people and just well I’m depressed so I’m waiting to blow.. I’m 23 and wish I had a job I really don’t want to be bother with a ailing mother and 3 adopted sisters but that’s my life at the moment. But I get what I want as far as material things but I would like to have my own money. My life is not a lifetime movie there are people who have it way worse than me but I guess I got emo over the years I blame my family members, Since I was a kid the only thing I heard from them is come back to Baltimore come back home to my mother. Like I didn’t matter It’s not my fault I was born in the Bronx and never became close to any of you. I don’t like it there and I tolerate them for my mother. Maybe that makes me weird because I don’t want a relationship with them but it is what it is. Last year when I visited them my grandmother said to me I would hate for your mom to have died I’m like thanks grandma for making me more depressed. And she asks me how long as your father been dead you think I’m actually counting down the years? Smh. They would really like force me to want to be there with them and I understand all my mom’s family is there and they want her to be there with them but no New York is all I know I’m not going to change for you. I’m never myself around them I’m quiet and won’t talk really and that’s not me but I used to be quiet and still am when I’m meeting someone new. I have to feel you out before I start talking and I been feeling them out for years and it’s weird really mental , it’s really a boring place the only good thing about Baltimore is the malls and the food but that’s it. It will kill me literarily if something happen to my mother and I had to go there. I’m at the age where I don’t have to go there but I have 3 adopted sisters and most likely they will live with one of my relatives and they all I know. When I hit 26 then I would have a lifetime story I guess but so far this is my story. This will be the last time I’ll share something this personal I know it’s my blog but I like to keep it upbeat. Don’t say I never got deep.

Be Happy you're Hired

So of course I have been going to rehab for a couple weeks and most of the time I get a cab to take me there and lately I been coming home on the bus .But  for these two last weeks I'm not ,I'm going to be cabbing it back and forth but there's a cab driver that my mom used alot in the past so I am using him for rehab. He's been taking me back and forth the first two weeks but I got tired of calling him and him not being able to come or just plain don't return his message and also the bus is cheaper so I called a random cab .So the other day I get in the cab and guess who is the driver , he says what happen wednesday. I said umm I want to rehab he said you didn't call me I was waiting. Mind you I haven't used him in a minute so I thought he would have got the message , I said well I been catching the bus .. he said what's your mom number. I look at him with 0_o face and start laughing to myself so he calls my mom and is like what happen I been waiting and you can tell he was getting upset so I continued to laugh and he said to my mom this is a business or some crap. Listen If I call you and you do not answer and say you coming  I am not waiting on you I am getting a random cab or catching the bus. I don't wait for NO ONE you not there I bounce. So when rehab was over I called my mom ( I didn't have the cellphone on me ugh) I used the pay phone and said call him to pick me up before he get a heart attack. So I'm sitting there waiting on a friday and the wind is blowing where is he at. So I called my mom again and It's not like I had mad quarters on me to be using the pay phone like that the hot dog stand man didn't even have change so I call and say he's not here -_- she's like he didn't come yet . I'll call again I say this is crazy if he not here I'm catching a cab . She was like if he not there in 15 minutes leave so 5 -10 minutes he's there. What he does is in between picking me up of course he is getting other customers at the same time which is
Understandable because that is his job and that's why I haven't been using him if you not able to pick me up you think i'm going to wait no I am not. So this week coming if my mom wants to call and remind him to pick me up fine but if he doesn't show up i'm gone. Money must be really tight.

Lady Gaga and Yoko Ono - The Sun is Down

Keep the crazy coming .. I love it.

Rehab Update

So I talked to my therapist and he says I have 3 weeks left of rehab and then I’m suppose to have a follow-up appointment by my doctor to suggest what to do from there. He says the doctor might suggest surgery if it doesn’t get better he doesn’t think I need any. I think I do, the side of my knee is where my knee pop out. I can lift up my leg better than I did before but the side still has a little pain and does not lift the way it should. And my good knee feels funny because I’m using that leg more lol. To keep my mind off of it for now I purchase NBA 2K11 and it’s so far entertaining me.

They tried to make me go to rehab but I said 'no, no, no… sadly I had no choice

No not that rehab, Rehab for my knee I started this past week. Basically I have to do exercises to help strengthen my left knee and funny my right knee is aching too smh. But it’s kind of fun I get to ride that exercise bike LOL. Its working but I think something in my knee needs to get repair which might require surgery. My rehab doctor was on vacation so I will have to discuss this with him next week. I’m taking it one day at a time.

Why 'GoodFellas' Still Kills, 20 Years Later

One of my favorite movies of all time.
Hard to believe, but 'GoodFellas' wasn't the instant classic it seems like today.

Before its release 20 years ago, on Sept. 19, 1990, Martin Scorsese's mob epic screened disastrously for test audiences. Some viewers walked out after the intense first 10 minutes, while some who remained were irritated by the rapid, cocaine-addict's-eye-view editing of the long climactic sequence of Henry Hill's (Ray Liotta) last day as a mobster. The ratings board found the film too bloody even for an R rating until Scorsese trimmed 10 shots.

20 years later, however, 'GoodFellas' is acknowledged as a masterpiece, arguably the best film of both the '90s and Scorsese's legendary career. Its influence over other movies and TV shows, and not just in the crime genre, is hard to overstate. Yet watching it again today, it still feels fresh, a sustained, 2-1/2 hour rush of outlaw energy. Here's why 'GoodFellas' has been so important over the last two decades, and why it still retains the force of that first explosive test screening.

Got Your Back .......

T.I. is there somebody waiting for you back in the pen for you to keep going back? I knew you was going to mess up but this fast smh.*Dead* at the people that thought you changed once a thug always thug T.I. did not change it’s called good P.R people. He preaches how he trying to better himself and he gets people wrap around his finger then does wrong again. This too shall past, isn’t that your favorite saying TIP. I think you failed hard this time because even if you get off you can no longer preach that “I’m a changed Man “nonsense without people side eyeing you real hard. Not going to work this time buddy. And Tiny take the fall? Why should she if they both in it together. I do feel tiny should have some type of punishment though but take the fall NO. When I first heard about this I heard it was tiny being the main culprit and was like really but I wouldn’t be shocked if this was T.I. and then I log on the internet and see it was T.I. too and laughed my behind off. You can not be this stupid, so you got a number one movie and think you can just do whatever now HA. I divorce you two years ago so this is really not an issue to me I let you back in my circle but you messed up again SMH. Not giving you any more chances. And I’ll still keep the fan page I need something to entertain me while my knee heals (;

Side note: And for the people who thought this was a joke PLEASE TMZ be on it. I believed it the first time I’m tired of the black community (especially) making excuses for these artists doing WRONG. Your favorite artists are felons deal with it.

Bad Knee

What a difference a day makes smh. Guess what? My knee pops... My knee literally snaps outside my socket the other day. I could not believe it I was standing up and all of a sudden my knee breaks like when a tree snaps. This is the first and hopefully last time this happens to me and yeah I know it sounds weird how does my knee just snap like that without any pressure I don’t know but it did. My knee cap was all the way on the other side of my leg so now I’m on crutches which suck even more. This Friday I have to get therapy for my knee. I am laughing so hard right now like what else can get worse for me... , My summer suck so what a way to end it. The Good thing is I didn’t think I could last a day without internet but I did so I get a Gold Star. So I’m sitting up here typing this with my leg in a brace feeling like wheelchair Jimmy...I’m so Far gone =/

Summer went by so fast

So this summer sucked I went to the maxwell concert which was my only highlight but a good highlight indeed LOL BUT STILL. And still on this Job Hunt I have a feeling I'm going to have to go back to school even though I seriously do not want to do that but sometimes in life you have to do things you don't want to do right? This fall I'm hoping will be a better time it's not really drama going on with me but just things will get better I hope.(Sounding emo ? Trust me I have a good life just things could be deleted from my life that's all)I'm doing better than fantasia so it can't be that bad.

J. Cole Day 2

Gaga being "Hardcore"

Seth MacFarlane is coming out with a Album

It's no joke: "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane has signed a record deal to release his debut album.

MacFarlane has joined forces with Universal Republic Records to deliver an album of 1940s and '50s show tunes paying tribute to Broadway classics.

Unlike the songs on his animated Fox hits, these aren't spoofs, but straight-up renditions of songs by Rodgers and Hammerstein and Lerner and Loewe, among other talents.

"It's rare in this day and age to have the opportunity to create an album that celebrates the classic, sophisticated sound of rich, lush swing orchestrations," MacFarlane said. "It will be an absolute joy to sing this music, and I look forward to working with the entire team at Universal Republic on what we intend to make an exceptional project."

MacFarlane frequently sings the parody songs from his shows at live events, and he received an Emmy nomination for music and lyrics this year. The album will be produced using vintage techniques, and MacFarlane will be backed by a live orchestra and a big band.

I would probably buy this LOL

Growing Up Ghetto Indeed

So this past weekend was so boring for me. The elevator doesn’t work so I was pretty much stranded in my own house (can you believe that?) But keep in my mind I live on the third floor so it’s not like I can’t walk down the steps. Keyword I, my mom leg is messed up so she couldn’t do nothing for the whole weekend. So this is where I come in I had to run errands for my mom (Which I had no problem with) But the actual problem was that it was beyond HOT and I had just got my hair done (yep sounding like a diva right now which is something I am not trust me.) and my hair got sweated out I could not believe it I just got it done. But what do I expect? Heat and long flowing pressed out hair don’t mix. It’s funny because the weather now for this week is still hot but not like it was this past weekend. And plus I’m broke so I have to wait till the first of the month just like all the other ghetto people in this neighborhood ( I’m a Uppity Black just in case you don’t know) I am too outdone right now I’m about to pop in this Jay- Z mix tape to kill my boredom.

So because I became desperate I applied for a job at Best Buy. I was going to Best Buy anyway so I was like I’ll try it, the security guard there told me to apply online. So that’s what I did yesterday and so many questions I had to fill out. I’m waiting for them to get back to me but I already know I won’t get the job and it’s not like I really want to work there but I just felt hey I like electronics and it’s a electronic store why not LOL. Stores I really don’t want to work at but something to start me off at least I guess. To be continued...

Q&A with Aaron McGruder, Creator of "The Boondocks

Through nefarious and unscrupulous ways AllHipHop.com has hijacked an exclusive interview with Aaron McGruder from his own boondocksbootleg.com. McGruder rarely does interviews and this was the easiest way to obtain it so we got it. Don't ask how. This a partial interview for your reading pleasure. We're hoping to obtain a second part soon. Wish us luck!

BB: So thanks for sitting down with us. We’re pretty excited about this because we know you don’t really like doing interviews anymore. What made you talk to boondocks bootleg?

AM: It’s my website. So hopefully I can stop anything from going out that, you know... Might start trouble.

BB: Maybe. But isn’t most of your career based on trouble?

AM: I don’t know. Some of it. But at a certain point I just decided I was a private person and stopped doing press. I stopped doing interviews, stopped doing lectures. It killed my book sales [laughs], not that those were ever very good... but yeah, I prefer to speak through the work. There isn’t any dignified way to be famous anymore.

BB: Okay. So you don’t mind if the show causes trouble.

AM: Yeah, that’s different. The Boondocks is always gonna cause a little trouble I guess.

BB: Do you miss the comic strip and the ability to comment on the day to day news, or is that what made you launch the new website.

AM: Well, to be honest, while I was writing the show I didn’t have time to do anything else, so no I didn’t miss it at all. But when we launched the new site it seemed like a natural kind of transition back to the kind of thing I used to do with the strip... just without all the drawing and the deadlines which is good. But it’s been fun. I don’t really run this site --

BB: Yes, I know.

AM: I’ve wanted to have a site like this for a long time... I just never personally had the time to do it. I wish I had done this ten years ago and stuck with it. So it seemed like with the show coming back it was a good time to launch it.

BB: Oh yeah, that thing. Speaking of which, trailer looks great.

AM: You have to say that, you work for me.

BB: Yeah, but people seem to really like it. What are you thoughts on the season 3 so far? Is it finished?

AM: You know it’s not finished, you work here --

BB: Dude, it’s for the interview.

AM: Right, my bad. Okay.

BB: We’re pretending like I don’t know --

AM: No, I get it. Okay, so... No, the season’s not finished yet. I’ve seen a maybe nine completed episodes.

BB: Okay, so I think what everyone wants to know is, what the f**k, why did it take so long to come back?

AM: Yeah. Well... okay. The show is incredibly complicated to produce. Everyone kept saying the show was delayed, but I kept thinking, “no, we knew it was going to take this long. ” Part of the problem is me. The writing process takes nearly a year all by itself.

Michael Jackson's Housing Debt Weighs on Estate, Heirs

Michael Jackson lives on through a mountain of real estate debt still on the books at the one-year anniversary of his passing. Due to this and other deficits, his personal estate's money woes remain steep and still affect the family members he left behind.

With little liquidity floating around, eyes are on Jackson's real estate holdings.

So far, the Jackson family home, a 5-bedroom 7-bathroom, 10,476-square-foot home at 4641 Hayvenhurst Ave; in Encino, Calif., where his mother, Katherine, lives, has managed to avoid foreclosure. But just in the nick of time.

The save comes thanks to the roughly $200 million that the singer has brought in posthumously in the 12 months following his death. But while renewed popularity in Jackson's music has helped pay off debt, by no means are his plethora of properties in the clear -- a harsh reality that could affect Jackson's three children and his 80-year-old mother.

Come December 2010, the pop star's estate is expected to fork over $300 million of the $500 million debt that the Smooth Criminal and Thriller singer owes due to over-the-top spending throughout his life and, most excessively, in his final years.

By the end of 2010, Barclays PLC expects the matured $300-million loan that they gave Jackson to be paid in full.

In addition to the Encino home, Jackson's other costly and famed real estate is his Neverland Ranch at 5225 Figueroa Mountain Road in Los Olivos, Calif., a property that sits on 2,676 acres near Santa Barbara. Neverland was bailed out of foreclosure by Colony Capital LLC, an L.A. real estate investment firm that bought the note and placed the estate in a joint venture with Jackson back in 2008. (Colony takes care of the ranch's overhead, maintenance and tax costs.) It's currently not for sale and experts say it most likely will not be converted into a tourist attraction like Graceland, Elvis Presley's opulent pad.

There's also the family's home from Michael's childhood in Gary, Ind., at 2300 Jackson St.

A condo owned by Jackson near the Encino enclave was four months late on loan payments and homeowner dues, so was also allegedly in danger of foreclosing until it was recently paid off. At the time of his death, Jackson was living in a rented mansion in Holmby Hills, a high-end L.A. neighborhood near Bel Air.

Despite his various financial holdings, at the time of his death Jackson was plagued with unpaid bills. The Encino home, which was slated to foreclose on the day after Jackson died, had outstanding debts that included thousands of dollars in utility bills. Several months had passed without anyone, be it Jackson, his mother, or any other Jackson family members making a payment. Besides Katherine and the singer's three children, the offspring of two of Michael's brothers also live in the family home.

For a family that has amassed such massive wealth, the Jacksons were in danger of being without running water because of only $9,000 owed to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. Their phone/cable/internet service was nearly disconnected because $1,300 was left unpaid.

Another lesson, perhaps, on the dangers of overextending yourself in property ownership.

BET Awards 2010

Now I don't watch BET it is RARE for me to watch but I do tune into the BET awards for laughs. Now this BET awards was much better than last year (but that's not saying much) I wanted to post some of my favorite performances but they are not on youtube so I'll just write them. And i'm not going into details BET makes me waste Brain Cells so I can't remember anyway.

Kanye West - I thought he did good even though I felt he could have did more but I was just happy to see my kanye so I didn't care. I am looking forward to his album and him performing on a mountain was very kanye so I was pleased I really don't have much to say about this one.

T.I.- He's one of the few rappers that I can sit through(performance wise) , he brings energy and is a fine man so no complaining here.He was working overtime yesterday ... doing a skit with Queen Latifah and performing with dirty money. I guess he was making up for lost time.

El Debrage - I was *dead* how most of my twitter followers did not know who that man was. How can you be a music lover and not know about DEBARGE , I don't care if he was way before your time he was way before my time too and I know who that is. Youngins please educate yourself on music .. GOOD music at that. Alot of debarge records are sample into alot of hip hop classics so do your homework.

Eminem - Eminem like T.I. is another rapper that put on good performances , I love that a white boy is spitting better than most of the black rappers out. He came out on B.o.B set to the song airplanes , Keyshia Cole messed up airplanes for me who thought her voice sound good on that. Terrible. But em made up for it.

Dirty Money- A favorite of mines? I am shocked myself so say what you want about diddy (I get on him too) but performance wise he is entertaining. His dancing amuses me so much because he be so into it LOL. But as always Diddy makes it about himself having Dawn and that other chick be his background dancers . When will people learn ..diddy is career Suicide.

And The Main Atrraction YES- this even deserves it's own picture CHRIS BROWN.

This was the highlight for me .. So THANK YOU Chris Brown for entertaining me Yesterday (But not the way you think).

Now all in all I am a nice person (really I am) and i'm all about forgiveness but ..... Let's just say that Chris I enjoyed your performance last night and you really are a talented guy I will never deny that .. a reason I became a fan of you in the first place . You can dance your butt off and did a good tribute. But let's get to the crying LOL. CRY CRY and how Convenient you cry on man in the mirror. Your PR team has finally did something right. Now do I feel bad for chris for all his troubles No I don't. Does he deserve a second chance - You know that's not up to me to say . Personally that wasn't a comeback last night that was a flame a start of something because it doesn't matter if Black America forgives Chris it's up to WHITE AMERICA to forgive Chris. BET don't mean NOTHING. When I see chris slowly come back on MTV AWARDS , FUSE , AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS , GRAMMY AWARDS that's when Chris has made a COMEBACK. Is chris welcomed back in my circle? It's too late that spot has been filled by Lady Gaga so I can't let him back in if I really wanted to. At the end of the day if chris puts out a good song I will say that's a good song but he will never get any of my money again. It's the same how I am with alicia keys now I stopped buying her albums too. So chris hopefully you got the message but I won't be helping spread that message . Wish you the best.

Lady Gaga @ Elton John's White Tie and Tiara ball 2010

Not Top 5? No my top 4 concerts

Here's a list of my favorite concerts I don't go into full detail the things that happen but just some detail. NOTE :The way the concerts are rank does not reflect the ranking of talent keep in mind.

New Kids on the Block w/ Lady Gaga & Natasha bedingfield 2008

This is my number one concert for sentimental reasons; New Kids were the first artist/group I ever liked so I was more excited about this one. Lady Gaga open up the show and at this time she wasn’t a big star yet I was sitting there watching her and like 0_0 I can’t explain it LOL she was different but I was intrigue. This was during her just dance days and I figure she would be a one hit wonder but as we know that was not meant to be. Natasha was good she has a nice voice and performed well live. Then the main attraction New Kids on the block, the child in me was dying lol. They are a big part of my childhood and I love going back to my childhood when I can LOL. They are good live as well... they are so much Fun they get the audience into the show. I left the show pleased.

Closing thoughts – I was happy that I got the chance to see the group that started my whole music obsession but who would have thought two years later the only one I care about now is Lady Gaga. Go figure

2.

Maxwell w/ Jill Scott 2010

This was the concert I went to yesterday and it was so GOOD. This should really be my number one. The comedian guy torry open up the show and well was funny in the beginning but got vulgar in the end. It’s one thing to do dirty comedy but dirty comedy can also become tasteless. And the sexually jokes went tasteless in the end. Hey the audience laughed but I didn’t. So next Jill Scott was up she was really good. She has a very powerful voice I wasn’t feeling her at the moment because of some interracial comments she had made in an interview but I still like her though. Then Maxwell who I must say is a beautiful man. The women were going crazy and I was laughing my butt off at them. He is good live as well and someone was saying he messed up a lyric who cares he fine he can mess up the lyrics all he want. Women throwing their panties on stage and he playing with the panties yeah it was that type of concert. It was a good show definitely a fave of mines.

Closing Thoughts – I love when I can go to a concert and the people can SING and LIVE at that. Would I see Maxwell again a part of me would but the women (and men) are too much LOL so if he puts out a DVD I would buy it for sure.

3.

T.I. w/ Ciara , T-pain , Lloyd , Yung Joc & Special Guests Jay-Z , Kanye West , 50 Cent , Diddy & Swizz Beatz (Scream Fest aka Scream Tour) 2007

Okay this was my favorite concert for a long time and it will still stay as a fave of mines. I wanted to see T.I. so bad (at that time) so I had got my wish. I wasn’t sure at first as far as would he be good as a performer. Rappers in my opinion are not good in that department I mean they just hold the mic and walk around the stage wow what a good show *sarcasm* but T.I. brings energy and he pulled it off. Ciara is or should I say was a good performer. I’m glad I saw her when she was relevant I used to love Ciara too. Oh Well. Lloyd I liked at that time as well he wasn’t bad to be honest. He basically did the sing and dance thing. Yung Joc I could have did with out. He tried to be sexy which is a no no for him. What happen to Yung Joc anyway? T-pain at this time was popular he actually sung on songs without the auto tune and didn’t sound bad. Maybe he should have done more of that. There were special guest there Funk Master Flex I believe was there and Terrence J and Rocsi showed up too. During T.I. set he brought out Jay-Z, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Diddy &Swizz Beatz(This was a big deal too all the blogs were talking about this concert)This is the Mtv article on it. 50 Cent had came out earlier during Ciara set which was the beginning of the end for ciara when she got involve with 50 that was pretty much it career wise. It was funny to see Kanye and 50 on the same stage because at this time they had that little feud the who will sell more albums mess (Kanye won) But it end up being a publicity stunt but some took it seriously. I think the only one missing from that concert was lil Wayne; most of the top stars were there.

Closing Thoughts – It was a Hip Hop head dream and a huge upgrade from the previous scream tours. It actually was the last scream tour and would I see T.I. again? Yes I would guns and all.
4.

UCP(Up close and Personal tour)Chris Brown w/ Bow Wow , Omarion , Soulja Boy, Sean Kingston & shop boyz 2007

Now this was of course before the Chris and Rihanna situation and most of these people on this tour are no where near as popular as they once was but it was still a fun concert. Chris is a good performer and that is one thing I would never sugar coat. He really is but I actually wanted to see soulja boy too for some reason. Crank Dat was a huge hit and just like most at that time I was cranking it. I even have his first album but I’m not a fan anymore though. Bow Wow who I will always like (don’t ask) I liked him since I was 13 and it’s just certain artist no matter how wack they get or people feel they have gotten I just will still be fond of. Omarion his man (is he still his man?) was there and this was my third time seeing Omarion he just always popped up at the concerts I went to. I like him as a performer to be honest but like soulja boy not really into him now, Shop Boyz yeah those party like a rockstar people what happen to them? Sean Kingston not even going to lie I liked his first album and now he hanging out with Justin bieber so I guess his career is still intact.

Closing Thoughts – Don’t really have any. It was a fun show Chris is a good performer would I see him again? No I don’t support abuse sadly.

My other concerts were B2K(2003) which were a very popular group and messed up what happen to them in the end. The others at this concert was Marques Houston, Mario and nick cannon. Then the holladay jam(2005) with Bow Wow , Chris brown , Omarion , Marques Houston , Ciara and Trey Songz……..Let’s stop at Trey Songz because I missed him twice. On this tour and a show that was suppose to be at the Apollo Theater with him and Mario which was cancelled. I guess it wasn’t meant to be for me to see Trey Songz but I have no interest in seeing READY Trey Songz anyway.

I seen alot of other artists but they were mostly special guests at the concerts I went to I can't think of all of them at the moment.

In the future I would like to see Lady Gaga(again) Kanye West (again in a full show) Ne-Yo , Jonas Brothers ... I really did want to see them but they still on that disney mess and I just don't know now, Adam Lambert , Usher and Justin Timberlake who I must see before I die. I need to see Justin smh.
